Who We Are

Eastern Victoria GP Training (EV) is a regional training organisation offering quality GP education and training programs throughout metropolitan Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and Gippsland, equipping registrars with the skills required to become General Practitioners and supporting doctors towards Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FRACGP) or Fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM).

Our vision is a healthier community through excellence in general practice education and training.

Our Region

EV offers a diverse and vibrant training region and operates throughout eastern, south-eastern and north-eastern metropolitan Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula and Gippsland. Major centres include Melbourne, the second-largest city in Australia, Frankston, and Traralgon.

Applicants applying for the AGPT Program elect to train on either the Rural Pathway or the General Pathway.  These pathways determine the area where a registrar will train, not the content of their general practice training.
