In light of the current number of COVID-19 cases in Victoria we have revised our plans for Semester 1.2022. It has been determined that, in order to safeguard the health and safety of our registrars and staff, EV will continue to deliver the AGPT and PEP education programs online for Semester 1.2022. The dates will remain as previously advised. We will monitor the situation for opportunities as appropriate.   During Semester 1.2022 External Clinical Teaching Visits (AGPT) and Workplace Based Assessments (PEP) will also continue to be online.   Scheduled accreditation visits will also be undertaken online.   While this is disappointing for all concerned, EV is confident that the programs will be delivered to the highest quality possible as we continue the transition to College-led training.    Should you have any questions about any aspect of our program delivery during Semester 1.2022, please contact our staff.   Thank you to all our stakeholders for the work you are doing for your communities during this difficult period.

The EV Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Lloyd Waters as a Director from 17 January 2022. The appointment fills the position and casual vacancy as Eligible Rural Supervisor Director following the resignation of Dr Fred Edwards late last year. An advertising and interview process was conducted in early December. Dr Waters has been in general practice in Sale for over 30 years and was recently a partner of Clocktower Medical Centre located in Sale. Lloyd is a long serving and active supervisor in the Gippsland region since 2002 and brings this valuable experience to the Board in our period of change. We welcome Lloyd to the EV Board.
