EV Management and Staff congratulate Dr Dan Epstein on being acknowledged for excellence in the 2018 RACGP State Awards.
Dan is delighted to be the RACGP Victorian Registrar of the Year. Dan is currently working in the capacity of an academic registrar where he is researching payment models of general practice health economics to increase access of quality care to vulnerable populations. This position also has a teaching role in the Department of General Practice at Monash University and a clinical role at The Hills Medical in Olinda.
Outside of medicine Dan has many interests and working in general practice has enabled him to balance work and other pursuits. He is the founder of Vaxcards, a collectable card game for children to be incentivised and rewarded for vaccination featured in The Lancet last year. He was the runner up of the Rhode Scholarship in 2015 and has represented Australia in two different sports. Hoping to finish training early next year, he also hopes to continue to pursue research, teaching and clinical work.
