Semester 2 of 2017 is coming to a close and we hope you’re all making time for some rest and relaxation this silly season. A few messages from your RLOs:

2  Facebook Group

In case you haven’t yet heard about our Facebook group- It’s called “EV GP Training Registrars” and is a great place to interact with each other and your RLOs! We will be posting information about upcoming social events and educational materials. If you’re looking to start a study group for 2018 it would also be a great place to meet some study buddies! Just make sure you answer the questions when you apply to be a member so we can approve the request. Find it here.

3  Extension awaiting fellowship

For those of you completing your GP training with EVGPT early next year- Congratulations! If you plan to work during the extension awaiting fellowship term, please ensure you have submitted your provider number application to EVGPT. The RACGP does have a New Fellows Committee which runs some great events and can help make the transition from registrar to fellow that little bit smoother. Look them up on the RACGP website to stay abreast of upcoming events.

4  Talk to us!

Just a reminder that as your RLOs we are always available and want to hear about any issues you might be having. Our role is to represent the ideas (concerns and expectations!) of registrars so all feedback, both positive and negative, about your experience as a registrar is much appreciated. Shikha and Billy are also registrar representatives on the Victorian Board of the RACGP so if you have anything that relates to RACGP matters, please shoot us an email.

That’s all for now folks! Stay safe and we hope to see you all at the social event on the 19th!

Adam, Shikha, Billy and Romey, your RLO team!
